Arco d’Augusto rimini -
tempio malatestano rimini - Welcome to Rimini
Rimini is a beautiful city that extends for 135.48 km square on the coast of Romagna; while waiting for time to eat I recommend these places to visit in this beautiful city:
Tiberius Bridge
Started
by Augustus was completed by Tiberius, this bridge marks the beginning of the Via Emilia, as the arch that marked the end of the Via Flaminia.
It's one of the most remarkable surviving bridges built by the Romans and from 1885 is a national monument.
Arch of Augustus
It 's the oldest surviving Roman arches.
Erected in honor of Augustus in 27 BC with Istrian stone, is the end of the Via Flaminia. During the medieval period that was known by the name Golden Gate was dismantled at the top. The current battlements was built in the tenth century.
The arch bridge along with Tiberius is a symbol of Rimini to include in his seal first and then in her arms.
Malatesta Temple:
A
true jewel of the Italian Renaissance wanted by Sigismondo Malatesta in
the mid-fifteenth century, to perpetuate his glory and his family.
All by Leon Battista Alberti, who translated the noblest structures in those canons of classicism.
You can reach the Arch of Augustus along by the eastern rampart.
Built in the second century A.D. and had an elliptical shape. The number of spectators could be around 10-12 thousand.
The amphitheater of Rimini is the only one surviving in this part of the region.

Restaurants in Rimini
Restaurant "Dallo zio" (Uncle)
The restaurant is located in downtown near the Arch of Augustus. The environment is a pretty rustic and welcoming. The restaurant is famous for its excellent fish dishes, I recommend taking a first course of pasta with fish and to follow a mixture of fried calamari, mazzancolline, Zanchetta and vegetables; as final try the beauty and unusual green apple sorbet.
In addition to a wide variety of seafood appetizers, hot cold, you will find a wide range of pasta dishes, always based on fresh fish, famous for their delicate taste like the noodles to reef plate, local force, grilled, fried, and for the most demanding palates, fish more ... cooked on a noble art wide grid because the eye want its part.

Idyllically set just in the heart of Marina Centro and situated a short distance from both the sea and the city’s major hotels, Bounty Adventure Club is the most characteristic pub in Rimini.
Bounty’s pride is its shape, which reproduces the legendary 18th-century British vessel which became famous as the scene of the notorious Mutiny on the Bounty.
Bounty Club, which was inaugurated in 1990, soon became the most important disco pub/restaurant/pizzeria in Italy. The numerous attempts which have been made to copy its essential features just only resulted in an increase in its popularity.
Both tourists and business travellers flocking to Rimini won’t miss the opportunity to stop off at Bounty Club, which is the ideal place to spend pleasant evenings based on excellent cooking, good music and utmost fun.
